Within their lifetime, they have been able to gain riches that will last for a lot of generations to come. Compare that with the meager and paycheck to paycheck life that most of us are living and you can’t help but feel a little self pity about being something that you did not anticipate when making a course for your life. So what really is the difference between the Nouveau Riche and the rest of us? The simplest of answers would be that the Nouveau Riche answered the knock of opportunity while we were too busy thinking about it or even avoiding it altogether.

The nouveau riche were never afraid of risks, probably because they had nothing to lose in the first place. By starting out in life with so little, they had no notion of losing more than the little that they had. And this attitude served them well when opportunities that seems so far fetched and risky for the most of us came to them. And so if you want to get in the spirit of the rich, you have better go straight to the door running when you hear the slightest knock of opportunity is out there waiting for you.
